ACCOUNT MANAGER

Dominion Metallurgical Inc., a growth-oriented Roanoke, VA company with a unique business model, has an outstanding opportunity for an operational foundry person with unlimited earning potential. The successful candidate will be able to utilize their knowledge and understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, foundry technology, quality control, and machining of ferrous and non-ferrous materials in a role as an Account Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates should be comfortable speaking with people of all levels and have experience calling on customers.
Identifying and calling on new accounts for new business development, building strong customer relationships and working with suppliers.
Well organized, a strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently.
Basic computer skills and functional proficiency in MS Office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Represent company to potential new customers and suppliers.
Develop, strengthen and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential new customers.
Work with Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing staffs at customers and suppliers.
Lead generation for new accounts.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

Position is based in Roanoke, VA.
Associate's Degree or higher education.
At least 10 years of experience in foundry or machining of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Sales experience is a plus but not mandatory.
