Dominion Metallurgical (DOM-MET), a growing company with an innovative business model, has several outstanding foundry account management opportunities. The successful candidate will utilize their knowledge and experience of foundry technology, quality systems, and machining of castings to develop solutions with customers. The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive problem solver with strong customer-facing experience, either as a business development professional, sales executive, or account manager.


  • Utilize your foundry experience in a self-directed environment

  • Develop, strengthen and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new customers

  • Coordinate value-added services with suppliers for customers

  • Prepare sales forecasts, quotes, and negotiation strategies

  • Work with Client and Supplier Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing personnel

  • Work with customers to retain and grow accounts (No cold-calling necessary)


  • At least 10 years in foundry or machining of ferrous and non-ferrous materials

  • Casting experience as a representative, account manager, sales executive, or business development professional

  • Casting/foundry processes and machining proficiency

  • Ability to work in Roanoke, Virginia

  • Associate's Degree or higher education


  • Basic computer skills and functional proficiency in MS Office

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written

  • Well organized, a strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently

  • Candidates should be comfortable working with C-level executives, middle management, engineers, and front-line employees

Customer Service Representative / Buyer


Motivated, customer service driven individual needed as a Customer Service Representative to be part of a team providing turnkey manufacturing solutions to industrial clients. For 30 years, Dominion Metallurgical’ s (Dom-Met) team of technical and logistical experts have worked hand in hand to take the pain out of the procurement of metal and plastic components for our customers. By utilizing our extensive network of industry partners and global resources we develop manufacturing programs which allow our clients to produce quality products, on time, thus allowing them to manage their business o


As a Dom-Met Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a liaison between our account managers technical engineers and suppliers to ensure our customers’ expectations are being met. Using the customers manufacturing program as your roadmap, you will negotiate with suppliers, prepare quotes, process/issue orders, co-manage blanket supply agreements and oversee delivery logistics; all while adhering to Dom-Met’s core values.


A successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing. They must posses excellent written and verbal communication skills and be driven to provide exemplary customer service. Proven computer skills with proficiency in MS Office suite is mandatory. Must be able to assist with inventory management to include packaging, shipping, receiving and quality inspection.
